Used to assign segments to movements of distance allowing credit for partial completion. 

This is used with workouts like 16.1 from the 2016 CrossFit Open

8 Bar Facing Burpee
25ft Barbell Overhead Walking Lunge @ 95/65 lb
8 Chest to Bar Pull Up

A Rep Value of '5' for 25ft Barbell Overhead Walking Lunge would equate to 5 reps for each completion of that movement. Giving each 5 meter segment of completion a value of 1 rep.
